Break Room Remodel

The Trades Group, Inc. designed, constructed and delivered an open design industrial themed break room with hints (highlighting) of the Morton Salt colors and industry.

The renovation transformed the break room space and provides a safe, clean and professional industrial atmosphere. The space now provides an updated modern feel based on the California Green Building Standard Codes.

As a touch-less facility, it is more hygienic, economical and easily maintained. The Long Beach Morton Salt production facility floor employees are able to remove uncomfortable and contaminated safety gear, and instead of placing it on a table where they eat they can now place these items in organized bins as soon as they walk in the room keeping the room organized and safe. They are also able to recharge electronics (handheld radios and mobile phones) on the recharging shelves while they are sitting in a new stainless and black upholstered seat chairs eating off of new matching black wood tables.

New matching locking stainless steel bulletin boards display important company information, safety reminders, schedules and other information while new aluminum mini blinds will block the view of the processing plant and still allowing a little natural light into the space.

This renovated space will allow them the opportunity to step away from the harsh environment they work in and comfortably eat, rehydrate, socialize and recharge for the next shift. Most importantly the investment in the renovation ensures them that they working for a company that values their skills, dedication, environment and time.
